Maharashtra bamboo Development Board was established
by the Government of Maharashtra in 2016 with a mandate to oversee the
plantation of bamboo in the state of Maharashtra, with larger emphasis on
plantation on farm lands and supplement farm income and contribute towards
resilience to climate change as well as availability of quality raw material
requirement of industries.
